Moffat Beach Netball Club, in Golden Beach, is a vibrant sporting club with about 130 members. President Erin Shevelling leads with passion, supported by committee members Julie Jones, Annette, Shiree, and energetic sponsorship coordinator Josephine Stewart.
Catering to all ages—from Net Set Go (5–10 years) to junior competitive teams—the club plays a crucial role in fostering grassroots netball. It provides pathways for players to progress through regional and state-level programs such as Queensland Premier League, USC Thunder, and Sunshine Coast Lightning.
Beyond the court, Moffat Beach Netball Club meaningfully impacts the local community. It promotes teamwork, leadership, fitness, and community spirit through sport.
Families and volunteers are actively involved, creating a strong sense of belonging and connection. Events such as the annual Presentation Day and seasonal competitions bring the community together in celebration and support of youth development.
