A lifelong love of flowers has bloomed into a new storefront for florist Kat Roberts, who has opened Ever After Flowers at Pelican Waters Resort. The boutique shop brings together Kat’s passion for fresh flowers, thoughtful gifting and supporting Australian makers, with weekly blooms, plants, dried arrangements and affordable “pick-me-up” bouquets.
Kat’s connection with flowers began during childhood trips to the grocery store, when she would surprise her mum with a carnation on the way home.
She also collected wildflowers near her family’s cottage in Canada and practised floral crafts throughout her teens, although it wasn’t until many years later that she considered floristry as a career.
After moving to Australia and deciding on a career change, Kat began studying floristry. Ever After Flowers grew steadily through market displays, flower walls, event styling and a home studio before finding its new bricks-and-mortar space.
Kat sources predominantly Australian-grown flowers through the Brisbane markets, along with selected blooms from local flower farms.
The shop also carries gifts from Australian businesses, including rocky road, candles, jewellery and accessories. Seasonal hampers and new baby gifts are available, with delivery to local hospitals and homes.
Ever After Flowers is now accepting wedding and event bookings for late 2026 and 2027.
Kat also offers flexible subscriptions for homes, businesses and property styling, with no lock-in contract.
She loves visitors and extends a warm invitation to the community to please wander on in and have a browse.
