They’re easy to make, delicious, and full of wholesome ingredients to power both body and brain. Packed with protein, fibre, healthy fats and natural sweetness they help to support balanced blood sugar levels, helping to sustain your mood throughout the day.
Ingredients
Makes 2-3 bliss balls
• 2 cups pitted dried dates (soak for an hour prior, or use medjool dates)
• 1 cup raw almonds
• 1 cup coconut
• 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
• ½ cup sunflower seeds
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tbsp coconut oil
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Pinch of sea salt
• 2 – 3 tbsp water as needed
Method
1. Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender until well combined.
2. Stir and add water until it holds together.
3. Roll into bite-sized balls and roll in coconut
4. Eat after 30 mins in the fridge
5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. They freeze well.
