Caloundra’s Isabelle Kratz takes the issues of youth mental health and body image to the world stage representing Australia and every young person who’s ever been told they weren’t enough.
Local teen Isabelle Kratz has been crowned Miss Teen Galaxy Australia, earning the opportunity to represent the country on the international stage this August in Florida. At just 18 years old, Isabelle has already achieved many milestones in her career as an international model, fashion entrepreneur, and passionate mental health advocate.
A familiar face in the Sunshine Coast community, Isabelle co-owns Belle Le Chic on Caloundra’s main street with her mum, Jasmine Kratz. While her typical day once revolved around working in the boutique, she now regularly volunteers at community events. She also studies Journalism, Fashion, and Social Media at the University of the Sunshine Coast and teaches dance at the Elite Dance Institute.
As part of her reign, Isabelle is proudly using her platform to be a voice for those experiencing or recovering from bullying, mental health challenges, or body image issues. She founded For Every Beautiful Body, an inclusive online space supporting girls and women of all ages to know they are not alone. Through storytelling, resources, and interviews, she hopes to be the person she needed during her own mental health and bullying journey as a young teen.
Isabelle also supports batyr, a charity that delivers preventative mental health education in schools and universities. As a national finalist, she raised over $3,500 for the organisation—enough to fund education for 118 more young people.
Now, as a national titleholder, she is continuing her efforts by hosting the ‘Belle of the Ball’ Charity Gala at the Caloundra Power Boat Club on 11 July 2025. Tickets are available at belleoftheballgala.com.
