There’s a new art club in town—and it’s bringing a whole lot of fun.
The brainchild of Haley Douglas, this colourful and crafty addition to Caloundra’s creative scene is, as Hal puts it, “a nod to the stage of life we’re in: the little kids, the babies, the mess, madness and total chaos of everyday life.”
Built with plenty of heart, the cosy studio tucked behind Husk and Will on Bulcock Street is home to the Bad Art Craft Club, The Fun Mum’s Society, and a sweet locals-only flower delivery service. There’s something for all ages and creative interests—with absolutely zero skill required.
The materials themselves are part of the magic: treasures sourced from the bottom of craft drawers, sewing sheds, and forgotten odds and ends, all given a second life. By making something new from something old, the aim is to rescue supplies from landfill and prove that sustainability can still be sparkly.
